The brief was to promote the E Series Range in a bespoke, fun conceptual way to create brand talkability. Rather than filling the pages with product shots we designed an fun coffee table book, beautifully bound with top tips and quirky illustrations to capture the readers imagination.
This open brief on how we promoted the series gave us scope in both content and style. Each page contained a tip on how NOT to write abbreviations to avoid classic misinterpretations. The bound booklet printed on beautiful embossed papers and spot metallics reflected the quality and durability of the technology at the time.
We worked with Nokia to promote the new N76 Device. This bespoke flyer / foldout poster format lent itself to the content. The front and rear shot of the handset could be viewed at a glance. The clean look and feel was to target the consumer who was after a simple, sexy sleek handset. On opening the leaflet this then became an informative factual poster design. This gave the consumer all the necessary info alongside various angle shots on the one page. Today’s target audience is conscious of one’s appearance. The stylish features of this flip handset gave them information in a user friendly interactive format.
9,0000 technology consumers in 17 countries were questioned on media entertainment ( completed by Future Laboratory) and our job at Uncoated was to design a user friendly piece of printed material for each market and every one. 50 double sided cards were created with vibrant photography and factual straplines with the country's statistic on the reverse. Colour coded and belly bounded these A5 laminated postcards gave a compact promotional piece providing impact on viewing alone or as a selection side by side - an easy cross reference format.
